This is the web site presenting the ’XtremWeb-HEP’ middleware for Distributed Data Processing currently developed at LAL (Laboratoire de l’Accélérateur Linéaire) belonging to IN2P3 - CNRS
- XtremWeb-HEP -
In the framework of Distributed Data Processing (grids), the ’XtremWeb-HEP’ middleware permits to manage various Users and Applications, establish references on various Data and Computing Resources, then it dynamically deploys and runs these Applications on the available Computing Resources. It is useful far beyond High Energy Physics. The version 8 can manage virtual machines and permit to deploy a "volunteer cloud" platform.
- Projects -
The XtremWeb-HEP middleware is currently used by the DGHEP, EDGI, DEGISCO and IDGF projects. It has already been successfully used by the EDGeS project.
- Statistics -
Usage stats for the XtremWeb-HEP middleware and for the infrastructure running it
- Applications -
Applications dynamically deployed by the XtremWeb-HEP middleware are DART, Defect Aggregation in Materials Science, DNA correlation, and a MATLAB Application
- Publications -
